Mokena Intermediate School's Outdoor Education Program takes place in the Spring each year. There are two options available to students:
* Option 1 - Overnight Trip to Camp Timber-lee in East Troy, Wisconsin
* Option 2 - Stay-at-Home Day Trips (field trips to nearby locations)
The Outdoor Education Program gives students the opportunity to learn about the environment and themselves in a hands-on, out-of-doors atmosphere. Mokena Public Schools has offered an Outdoor Education Program for the past 26 years. Students and staff have benefited and will continue to benefit from this type of program.
