| Once again MES
students from Kindergarten through 3rd Grade were encouraged to
participate in the Six Flags Six Hour Reading Club which began
on December 21, 2007 and ended on February 21, 2008. Those
students who participated in the Read to Succeed program were
eligible to earn a free ticket to Six Flags Great America by
reading for a total of six hours. Students kept track of
their six hours on the "Keeping Track" sheet that required a
parent's signature. Classes with 95% - 100% participation
were entered into a drawing for a free Blizzard Party sponsored
by Dairy Queen. |
