Looking at the Continents
Mrs. Jane's 3rd Grade Social Studies
class worked in collaborative groups of three to create
PowerPoint presentations on a specific continent.
What a great way to share information and learn from one
another!
Santa Online
Letters
Mrs. Darnell's 1st
Grade students created Santa letters online that were
sent directly to the North Pole. In a matter of
seconds, students received an email response from Santa
himself! Is this technology power or what?!
Santa Letters
Mrs. Blank's
Kindergarten class created Santa Letters in Microsoft
Word with the help of Mrs. Klappauf's 5th Grade class
elves!
A Recap of
Accomplishments
Mrs. Grady and Mrs.
Farrell created a PowerPoint presentation to recap all
that's been done this year in class! What a great
way to recapture the 1st semester!
Here Come the Turkeys!
Mrs. Paez's 1st
Grade class used the drawing tools in Kid Pix to create
Thanksgiving Turkeys. What a great way to learn
Kid Pix control and demonstrate creativity at the same
time!
Using MindPoint Quiz Show
Mrs. Menozzi's 2nd
Grade students are learning how to use the MindPoint
Quiz Show to review their math skills. What a
great use of the new technology that is part of the
District's new Math resource adoption!
ELMO Comes to
Math Class
Mrs. DeSalvo cleverly uses the ELMO
camera to actively engage her 2nd Grade students in Math
class. Now everyone can see 'realtime objects'
such as money or work together on the same worksheet or
workbook page. How exciting!
Wild Animal
PowerPoints
Mrs. Eddy's 2nd Grade students are using
Microsoft PowerPoint to create digital presentations
about wild animals. Many students use the Internet
to research information and capture real life pictures.
Let the show begin!
