School District 159's Curriculum Process provides
a forum for the district to develop a curriculum that sets high
expectations for all students. The process is based upon research,
theories, trial and error, discussions with administrators and
just plain common sense. The curriculum represents a sequence
of learning presented to students from the time they begin kindergarten
until they graduate from eighth grade. This curriculum provides
a basis for budget development, textbook selection, curriculum
related decisions, evaluation of student achievement and staff
development. |
